"Little Miss Muffet" is a popular traditional nursery rhyme, which was published in the mid-twentieth century. In some versions of the rhyme, an alternate word has been used for “Whey”, where it is not a common eatable. It is easy for the little ones to master the lyrics as it is one of the shortest and simplest rhymes.
The earliest version of the song was noted on 1805, in 'Songs for the Nursery'. The origin of the song is unclear as no evidence has been found to support it.
